New Land Protection

Yamhill Conservation Trust is dedicated to furthuring the protection of wildlife habitat and natural resources throughout Yamhill County. At our formation, we ingrained the following purpose into our Articles of Incorporation.​

1. To acquire and/or sell or exchange real property or any interest therein and to receive gifts, legacies, and devices of real or personal property for the purpose of land conservation and protection.

2. To preserve, protect, and enhance natural areas, wildlife habitats, agricultural lands, and other ecologically significant lands within Yamhill County, Oregon as assets critical to the health and economy of the community.

3. To provide public access, educational opportunities, and technical assistance to landowners, students, researchers, and the public, promoting land conservation and sustainable land management practices.

4. To collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies, tribes, non-profit organizations, academic institutions, community groups, and other partners to leverage resources and expertise for conservation initiatives.
