Yamhill Conservation Trust is your local land trust. Your support helps us conserve land, build wildlife habitat, save rare species and provide natural resource based programs for community participation. Cash Donation

Click the donation button for a quick and easy way to donate. You will receive an acknowledgement of your gift for tax purposes. You can also send a check to 15580 NW Orchard View Rd. McMinnville, OR 97128. Make checks payable to Yamhill Conservation Trust. We’ll send you a receipt! And don’t forget to note the opportunity to donate on a monthly or annual basis.

 
IRA Distribution

This includes Qualifying Charitable Distributions (QCD) as well as Required Minimum Distributions (RMD). Please provide your wealth management company or advisor with our mailing address and EIN number which are at the bottom of this page.

Donor Advised Funds

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) are charitable investment accounts sponsored by a 501c3 public charity. They operate as a middle ground between direct donations and establishing a private foundation. When you open a DAF, you can contribute a multitude of different assets and take an immediate tax deduction, even if you distribute donations later. Additionally, your contributions are invested and grow tax-free over time. DAFs are sponsored by financial entities (such as Fidelity Charitable or Vanguard Charitable) or community foundations (such as the Oregon Community Foundation). Once established, you can make disbursements to support Yamhill Conservation Trust.

Inclusion in Estate Plan

This is a great way to leave a legacy which will carry through generations to come. It can include bequests, outright cash donation, gifts of stock, retirement plan designation, life insurance policy designations and establishing a charitable trust or endowment. Land Donation

Property donations can include properties which can be permanently protected and used for wildlife habitat or can include residential or commercial properties which can generate funds to purchase important conservation properties.

Equipment Donation

We are responsible for stewarding a lot of acres and we love the phrase, “work smarter, not harder”. Having the right equipment to aid us in our caretaking makes a tremendous difference. This can include large equipment such as a tractor or all-terrain vehicle or even hand tools such as gas-powered saws and trimmers. Let’s chat about what you might have for us!

We will also consider a donation of volunteer hours if you have an area of expertise (equipment repair, legal or real estate experience, etc.) or if you’re just excited to be involved! Send us a message and we’ll talk!
